Bow Builds - Monster Hunter Rise Version 2.0
Monster Hunter Rise Bow Builds
Welcome to the monster hunter Rise version 2 - post Chameleos update Build guide. Here you'll be able to see the best weapons, builds, and see a little bit of the theory behind the skills so you can pick what's right for you.
Chameleos Update
In update 2.0 the best bow types are elemental rapid fire and pierce. Spread was good in the 1.0 but since spread shots are easy to miss and the other bows were upgraded they fall too far behind.
For elemental bows the meta is to use the rampage bows for all elements
Elemental Rapid Bows
Currently the best rapid bows are all rampage bows. They have been upgraded so until the next update these will be our best choices for all elementals.
For your rampage Skills you'll want to use
Attack
Your element
Firing: Rapid
Use Power Coating
Use Exhaust Coating
Arc Shot: Recovery
The more attack the better since most monsters favor more raw over more element and if you have the ability to use exhaust coating you gain +10 extra raw and you don't need to use the coating. Free attack? I'll take that any day.

Skill Theory
Bow Charge Plus increases your level of charge and is the number 1 priority. Right now we can only find it from the Feather so fight the Barioth and Rajang in the arena.
Shot type up will give you 20% more damage right off the bat so that is why it's a core skills.
Stamina is one of the most important things for bow and and that's why I decided to without you can't do damage AND can't dodge. This is why my build has Constitution 4 and Stamina Surge 2. If you want to learn more about Stamina Consumption then check out my bow guide.
We don't have crit boost on this build since the rampage bow has 0% and without wex you can't crit. If you are able to fit in some more crit after the core skills feel free but that would be better than crit boost at this point.
If you have Quick Reload 2 it will load you coatings automatically which could be a nice quality of life skill but I wouldn't prioritize it.
