I’ve made a damage calculator so you can see how much damage you’ll do on a monster. This is going to be helpful for when you are making builds since you can simulate and how much damage you build would do on different monster and tweak it before you make it.

If you’re interesting in how these values where calculated or how the formula changed in Rise check it out here. There are set builders that help with getting builds with a high efr and efe but like I talked about here those aren’t always the best things to look at when you’re making your builds.

These is a work in progress and will be updated periodically so subscribe to the email list or follow me on twitter to get updates. If there is anything else you want me to add me know. This tool is for our community so if there is something you want added I’ll do my best to put it in.

Before I explain how to use it thanks to the MHW discord for getting the raw motion value data together.

How to Use

This program don’t have too many fields that need to be manually changed and most of the values auto populate when you select your skills. For now you have to change the selected fields

The monster, Element type, and Sharpness are drop downs and you can use them to select what you need. When you change the monster all of that monsters parts will automatically update to the correct parts and hit zones.

It using EFR and EFE so you can compare builds but the most important part is the fact that you can see how much damage you’ll do to a monster. For some monsters they take more damage from raw than elemental. In these cases you might want to use a raw build or go with a build that has more raw than elemental. There is a lot that EFR and EFE don’t take into account so this program will help make sure you are maximizing your damage.

*Note* Monster Hunter Rise is still new and motion values are still being testing by people like myself so when I have updated values to share I’ll be updating the program.
